Testimonials

In working with Tessie, I thought the initial focus was going to be cutting things from my diet, not eating past 6pm, etc. To my surprise, at our first meeting, this was not Tessie’s focus at all. She was more into the psychology of it all. Through a series of meetings we peeled back the onion. It was refreshing and digging a little deeper has allowed me to make solid and realistic modifications to my lifestyle.

I journal, which helps to clear my mind. I get more sleep, which allows my body to recover. I pay attention to how certain foods affect my body and if I actually enjoy it, not only after I eat but while I’m eating. I have learned to embrace my body through the journey.

I may or may not JUST be getting around to my year I may or may not JUST be getting around to my yearly goal-setting 👩🏽‍💻📒
.
In the past I’ve done very in depth yearly reviews and yearly visions. This year, though so excited to dive in, I found I kept putting it off. 🤷🏽‍♀️
.
I’ve had this quarterly planner from @bossbabe.inc for... well... almost 6 months now, but haven’t used it yet. This is a funny thing to admit as someone who also created a planner and habit tracker. In fact a huge part of what I want to continue to incorporate with @hapiegoals products is community and accountability b/c I know I’m not the only one who will buy ALL the planners but if it’s not habitual to use them... won’t. 😬
.
Today, I’m keeping it simple (done is better than perfect, is that the saying?) and reviewing some key metrics from my biz for 2020, to see growth that has happened in order to set realistic yet stretchy #2021goals ☕️
.
I’ll track biz projects and some personal goals in my boss babe planner, & health/mindset goals in my HAPIE Goals planner (swipe to see)
.
*neuroscience tip* On @jennakutcher’s @goaldiggerpodcast I heard an episode with @drtaraswart about the science behind manifestation. If you’re someone like me who likes explanations behind behavior change and the mind’s connection to our goals, highly recommend!
Double tap if you believe deep down that this is t Double tap if you believe deep down that this is true... even if you also feel it’s something you’re personally working on embodying. ❤️

My Xmas present 🎁 outfit from @beealmighty1 (one of many, he spoiled me!) 🙏🏽🥰 always helps me feel ready for work and a workout, just ready for the day!
.
What helps you kick into gear on Monday morning? ☀️
Ready for a workout? A BRAIN workout, that is! 🧠💪🏽 Grab your notes app or a pencil and paper (or your hapie goal planner 📒😉) because we’re about to do a 5-minute new year brainstorming session!

Here’s how it works…
⏰ First, set a timer for 3 minutes and do a brain dump of any ideas about any healthy habits you REALLY would love to stick to this year.

📝 Second, take 1 minute and write down any potential roadblocks or questions that need answered based on the ideas you thought of.

🤔 For the last minute of your brainstorming session, think of ways you can get more inspiration for your ideas, like reading articles, googling resources, or reaching out to a pal.

✅ There you have it! In five minutes flat, you were able to get amazing clarity on what you DESIRE to create this year. Wasn’t that fun?

🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m a nerd with vision setting and goal planning, but to be honest, this year I’m already very busy, and it’s helpful to keep it short and sweet. ♡

Care to share any ideas you thought of in the comments? I’d love to hear them!
